Claus Porto

The first ever Portuguese factory of soaps and perfumes was founded in 1887 in Oporto by Ferdinand Claus and Georges Ph. Schweder, two Germans living in Portugal. By that time, this sort of products were imported and considered a privilege of the wealthiest's no wonder Oprah chose Claus Porto soaps as one of her "favorite things." These luxurious all natural soaps have been made in the same traditional way for almost 120 years! Several generations of Europeans have experienced these wonderful soaps, and now you can, too.
Claus Porto creates true works of art, whose exclusive Art Déco design and packaging evoke the company’s historical legacy. These soaps contain natural shea butter (also known as karite) to moisturize even the driest skin, and high quality natural scents such as vetyver, vanilla and sandalwood.
"These creamy, fragrant, gorgeously wrapped soaps from Portugal now come in small discs. Give them to a hostess, who can bestow them on her lucky guests." —Oprah

All Claus Porto soaps are milled seven times in the European tradition. This means that each handmade bar will last without cracking or loosing it's fragrance til the very end. These bars are far superior to any store bought soap. Don't you deserve a little luxury in your life?
